Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) is a perennial herb with a zesty, lemon aroma, which is said to have long been used to support calmness, as well as sleep.* Some studies suggest that rosmarinic acid in lemon balm may support the inhibition GABA-transaminase (GABA-T), an enzyme thought to degrade GABA.* GABA is said to be the main inhibitory neurotransmitter which is thought to decrease excitability in the nervous system.* Lemon-Aid 714 contains a concentrated 10:1 lemon balm extract, meaning 1g of our extract was obtained from 10g of dried leaves.
Oleamide is a natural fatty acid, said to be produced naturally in our brains from oleic acid (found in olive oil). It is also said to be found within the fruits of Ziziphus jujuba, known as jujube or Chinese date. Jujubae fructus is said to have been consumed in China for over 3,000 years. Oleamide's natural function is thought to be associated with bringing about sleep.* Studies have reportedly shown that it may accumulate in the central nervous system prior to sleeping.*
Magnolia bark (magnolia officinalis) is said to have been used to support sleep and relaxation for thousands of years in Asia.* Magnolia bark extract may contain several bioactive compounds such as honokiol and magnolol.* Research suggests these compounds are antioxidants.* Similarly to lemon balm, it has been said that these bi-phenolic isomers are thought to support relaxation by helping to maintain GABAergic neurotransmission.* The significance of Magnolia's benefits will only become fully apparent once further research is conducted.* We use a highly concentrated 25:1 extract of magnolia, meaning each individual capsule contains the equivalent of over 4g of standard magnolia bark.
Valerian Root (Valeriana Officinalis) is said to have been used since the era of ancient Greece and Rome to support tranquility and sleep.* Valerian contains valerenic acid, isovaleric acid and other antioxidants such as hesperidin and linarin.* Some research has suggested that valerenic acid may support GABAergic neurotransmission.* Several studies have suggested that taking valerian root may reduce the amount of time it takes to fall asleep, as well as improve both the quality and quantity of sleep.* The Valerian root extract we use contains 0.8% valerenic acid.
Erythrina Mulungu, also known as Erythrina Verna, is a medium-sized tree, native to the Amazon rainforest regions of Brazil and Peru. If you have ever ventured into the depths of Amazonia, you might have encountered its coral red flowers, which earned it the alternative name “coral tree.”
The tree bark has long been utilized as a dietary supplement by indigenous Amazonian tribes, for a number of uses, including sleep support and promoting relaxation.*
Mulungu is perhaps not very well known (outside of Shamanic circles). There have not been many human studies done on its constituents, which comprise of alkaloids such as cristamidine, erysodine and hydroxyerythravine, as well as flavonoids and triterpines.*
Mulungu does not appear to have a prevalent action on GABA or glutamate neurotransmission.* Vasconcelos et al. (2004) found that the active extracts didn’t cause any motor coordination impairment in mice either.*
Some recent studies have suggested that Erythrina alkaloids such as erysodine may help to support the modulation of nicotinic receptor channels, but the evidence is limited.* It has been suggested that nicotinic acetylcholine receptors may play a role in mood health, but further research is needed.*
More research is needed before any conclusions can be drawn about any of the aforementioned potential benefits of mulungu for supporting and maintaining health.* Mulungu may also potentially have other benefits, which we will not discuss until further research becomes available.*
We use a highly concentrated 20:1 extract of mulungu, meaning each individual capsule packs the equivalent of 2g (2,000mg) of dried mulungu bark.

Excellent product, effective, no side effects. Good , calm focus with one capsule and a very restful sleep with two. I have been using these capsules for over a year and will continue to purchase.
I have been through 4 tubs of this stuff and just ordered another 3 and when they are gone I will order some more. Love that it is all natural products and no big pharma shit that makes me worse rather than better ! 1000% recommend this product, absolutely amazing and works wonders for my poorly head ! Thank god I found you guy's 😊
I’m on my second order and have to say, I’d hate to be without them now.
They genuinely work for me, if I take 2 capsules, around an hour before bedtime. Sleep seems to come faster and is deeper, more restful.
Haven’t used the recommended one capsule for daytime anxiety yet, but will be keeping it in mind.
Customer service always exceeds expectations.
All my dealings with the company were professional and the goods were delivered quickly and looked like luxury packaging- however they haven’t had any notable effect on my sleeping issues! Might work for others though
